Today is my birthday but no cake for me today.
I am a vegetarian so I had the luxury of a jar of peanut butter instead of tuna in my box.
I also added to my food by spending $2.99 of my $5 on a small block of cheese that was on sale at the grocery store. Yesterday I waited until I was really hungry and had toast and peanut butter, later I snacked on crackers and cheese. For supper I had a cooked potato with grated cheese, with some of my can of peas and carrots. From a nutrition standpoint it was pretty poor. No fruit and minimal vegetables. It was a long way from meeting the Canada Food Guide requirements.
This morning I treated myself to 2 eggs scrambled with a toast and one of my apples. Lunch was some of my brown beans with whole wheat bread. That makes a complete protein. I am contemplating one of my 2 carrots, but I am hesitant to use one yet. I am spending way more time thinking about food and what I will allow myself to have next than I ever do normally.
